Application to Run for the Board of Directors
We are presently seeking applications for candidates for election to the Board of Directors of ACHE. The future of hypnotherapy depends on organizations which genuinely uphold meaningful standards in our field and provide a proper structure for students to learn our wonderful discipline, and to practice it competently and in freedom. These are the goals of ACHE. So, if you believe in these goals, and want the competent and ethical practice of hypnotherapy to be available for society in the future, please consider being a candidate in this election.
Candidates need to be current members of ACHE, and to have been members in good standing for the previous two years. Candidates need to provide details of two “supporters”, also current members of ACHE who have been members in good standing for the previous two years, who are willing to endorse and support the application for candidacy. Election to the Board is for a term of two years, after which a Board member is eligible to seek candidacy again for election for one further term of two years.

4. Please type below your résumé (maximum 250 words) in support of your application for candidacy. The information in the résumé must be accurate and not omit important relevant facts; personal attacks on others and inaccurate information are not permitted and may result in the application being disqualified. In addition, please add a list of your membership of all relevant organizations. Any potential conflicts of interest, for example, employment or other connection with a competing organization, need to be disclosed on this form. If the applicant is in any doubt about potential conflicts of interest this should be made known to the ACHE office. If the Board is made aware of such a conflict, this will be discussed with the applicant before making a ruling on whether the application can proceed.
