Description
You already know the basics, now get the new ideas, scripts and techniques to take your stop smoking cessation program to the next level.
Smoking is still the leading cause of preventable disease and death in the United States, accounting for more than 480,000 deaths every year. Here is an opportunity for you to be a part of the solution – and grow your practice!
Smokers develop a strong (unhealthy!) relationship with their cigarettes (dip, vape pen). They believe that smoking is how they manage their stress and cope with their day.
Smokers also develop an entrenched thought process around smoking. These repeated thoughts develop thickened neural pathways that allow those negative and habituated thoughts to travel so fast that the client is tricked into smoking before they even realize it.
For them to successfully become free of nicotine, we must address both of these issues.
We’ll also address how they can manage their close relationships. Have you ever worked with a smoker who was sabotaged by a friend or family member? Or worse, their significant other? We see this happen so often, so let’s be proactive and give them the tools they need. Let me show you how!
If you need more scripts, more skills or just more confidence, this is for you! (Adapted from a 6 Week Smoking Cessation program.)
