Migraines to Multiple Sclerosis

Building your medical hypnosis practice?

A specialty in neurological hypnosis opens the door to a steady flow of referrals from clients and neurologists. This short course will equip you to feel confident helping clients with the range of neurological issues, from the occasional migraine to the most discouraging diagnosis of a progressive disorder.

While neurological pain, movement, and perception issues often respond exquisitely to hypnosis, they can also present special challenges that require adjustments to standard hypnotic methods. In this course, you’ll learn some key distinctions to keep in mind when working with neurological issues, and you’ll come away from this workshop with a practical toolbox to move through those challenges.

Topics include:

  • Retraining the brain – hope, expectations, and techniques
  • Migraines – interventions for the two most common types
  • Parkinson’s disease – training the brain for calm limbs
  • Multiple sclerosis – comfort, confidence, and quality of life
  • Stroke recovery – remember and move forward

Though sometimes almost “magical” healing does occur, these strategies are aimed at being part of an integrative medical approach. This means refraining from grandiose claims while at the same time offering practical, meaningful help for most every client.
