Message from ACHE President

Dear Friends,

We are looking forward very much to our online Conference this weekend.

We want you to have the best experience possible, so please check carefully with the latest information that is sent to you and that is online.  Note that we have adjusted the timetable to accommodate variations in length of some of the talks supplied by speakers.  We have also introduced a few breaks in the schedule to reduce the effects of variations and balance out the timings.

Our thanks go to all who have contributed to making this event happen.  As a not-for-profit organisation,  ACHE relies heavily on the voluntary efforts of willing members to help us achieve goals.  We have employed a tried and tested platform for this conference and have good technical people to make the event run efficiently.

We have given some basic guidance to attendees to help reduce any technical problems members might experience in attending the event.   As I know from experience of participating in large online events, and as I expect many of you are also aware, current internet technology has the potential to malfunction due to its complexity of design and the many variables affecting its performance at the user’s end.  We appreciate your patience and look forward to an exciting and educational weekend with the bonus of being able to view the content for 30 days after the event.

We are already working on our 2018 physical conference and are looking forward to seeing you there.  Running an online rather than a physical conference this year, while demanding in itself, is giving us more time to work on our 2018 conference while providing good CE opportunities this year for our members.

With my best wishes to you all,

John
