Making a complaint

We take complaints regarding our certificants very seriously. Before submitting a complaint, please contact the administrative office to confirm that the individual is a current member of ACHE at office@hypnotistexaminers.org or 619-280-7200. The statute of limitations for complaints is one year from the date of the incident.

Describe in detail the nature of your complaint, how it is out of compliance with the ACHE Code of Ethics, and date or dates of occurrence.

Please note: All complaints against currently certified members will be forwarded first to the member. Once they have responded, both parties' information will be forwarded to the Ethics Committee for review. At the conclusion of the review, Ethics Committee findings will be presented to the Board. The Board will take this information under advisement and determine if and what action must be taken, within the bounds of our governing Code of Ethics and Bylaws.
