In a previous lecture, titled Mind Floss, we studied ways in which a hypnotherapist can work within a dental setting as well as using hypno-analgesia as a complementary or alternative form of pain relief.
This knowledge can also be applied to the medical sector, and it is paramount when working in these fields that one feels confident in producing hypno-analgesia, especially for medical or dental emergencies.
The patient is always a part of the procedure and when engaging their subconscious to its greatest potential the results in recovery are greatly increased and trauma greatly decreased. Dr Lemaire and I will be walking you through the benefits of inductions specifically useful and effective in medical and dental procedures and bringing to you further information on this extraordinary use of hypnosis.
In part two of this study, we shall revisit and elaborate upon the previous lecture expanding our confidence and in the trance state, achieving the level of trance required for operations and our role as the operator.
