As a nonprofit organization, the ACHE relies on its governing documents to provide foundational rules and procedures that legally establish and guide the organization’s structure, mission, operations, and governance. They help ensure accountability, define roles, outline meetings, and protect the tax-exempt status of the organization by setting operational standards and compliance guidelines. These documents include the Bylaws, Conflict of Interest, and Code of Ethics. While many hypnosis organizations do not have, or abide by, these documents, the ACHE endeavors to operate with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism and its governing documents help to make this possible.
