hypnosis, conferenceHypnotic coaching gives hypnotists the opportunity to join the fastest growing profession in human relations:  coaching, with the extra advantage of hypnosis. Appealing to an entirely new client market, hypnotic coaching combines the skills of life, business, or relationship coaching with the techniques of classical hypnosis. Hypnotic coaches work with self-esteem and empowerment, life design, prosperity, stress, peak performance, weight, health, sales, real-estate and much more.
Hypnotic coaches work with people who already have a measure of “success” in their lives, but who want to bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be in their profession and their personal life. A hypnotic coach is much like a trainer who helps an athlete win the “gold medal” – not just be in the race. Hypnotic coaches help their clients design the life they want, and bring out their clients’ own strengths so that they can achieve excellence and create extraordinary lives. Utilizing techniques of classical hypnosis, hypnotic coaching focuses on the achievement of goals: Performance goals, Learning goals and Fulfillment goals.

With the American population becoming more open to understanding how the mind affects the quality of life, more people are looking for ways to harness their mind power to reach their goals. The profession of coaching has emerged in the marketplace and opportunities to create a six-figure income as hypnotic coaches are unlimited. People already are seeking the help of coaches to help them achieve both personal and professional goals.  The use of hypnosis will accelerate their success.

Hypnotic coaching is a process similar to solution-focused techniques that therapists use for less serious psycho-emotional problems and life stresses. But, hypnotic coaching goes beyond problem solving and co-creates a life for the client that is purposeful and focused. Hypnotic coaching often is done on skype, facetime or phone.  Many hypnotists/hypnotherapists have already learned life coaching skills and these can be integrated with hypnosis to allow them to open to new clients and new issues.

Hypnotic coaching differs from hypnotherapy/hypnotism in three areas:
1.    Different clients: hypnotic coaching clients are not seeking help for problems. They want to achieve goals,
2.    Different process: the work is co-created between hypnotic coach and client,
3.    Different relationship: coaching is a professional relationship of equals.

Remember, hypnotic coaching is a non-therapeutic use of hypnosis as a coach and combines the skills of life, business, or relationship coaching with the techniques of classical hypnosis. Hypnotic coaching uses hypnosis as a tool to achieve goals: learning goals, fulfillment goals and performance goals. Hypnotists and Hypnotherapist with life coaching skills can now use those skills in new ways.

CASE STUDY:
Tom is a young owner of a paint company. He learned paining from his father. He started his own company with his brother about five years ago. They both work really hard and have a few workers, but the business continues to struggle to stay busy. Tom has been advised to attend networking groups as a way to get clients. He feels shy and wishes he had more confidence. His girlfriend suggested that he get a coach to help him with more confidence and to get clearer on his business goals. Tom always has been interested in the power of the mind and hypnosis so he was pretty excited to discover that I did hypnotic coaching. He did a Discovery Session with me, where we discussed his goals, how I work and he experienced progressive relaxation hypnosis and visualized achieving his initial goal. He signed up for my three month success program which includes twelve 45-minute sessions paid monthly. On the second session we went through the Hypnotic Coaching formula. This is an assessment tool that allowed Tom and me to co-create his hypnotic coaching program.

Hypnotic Coaching Formula
Write down a goal: Build Business Success
1. Focus Use a scale of 1-10 to determine the level of focus.
Tom felt he was a 5-6 and that his self-esteem issues and distractions got in the way
2.Mindset/Attitude
Tom had a lot of negative self-talk. He needed to develop a positive mindset
3. Skills/Abilities
Tom lacked networking skills, business and self-management skills
4. Habits/Behaviors
Tom needed to learn and practice the habits of success. He needed to learn time management and organizational skills.
Tom and I planned out a very successful hypnotic coaching program. Co- creation is one of the real powers of hypnotic coaching. Tom learned and practiced daily self-hypnosis. We cleared blocks from the past and reprogramed him for success. He worked with his inner committee to create focus and achieved his goals. He also was able to make our entire work a business expense.

A multitude of opportunities are available for hypnotic coaches. In the professional world, business executives, sales professionals, and newly self-employed individuals already seek coaches to take them to the next level. The combination of coaching with hypnosis is appealing to those who wish to develop their inner game. Corporations spend millions of dollars on the personal development of their executives and employees. People also are turning to coaches for their personal lives. Some find themselves in career transitions, health issues and relationship challenges and need support rather than therapy.
This is the ideal time for hypnotic coaching. The market is wide open for hypnotic coaches to bring the power of hypnosis into mainstream American life. Hypnotic coaching allows you to coach the subconscious.
